From 3 to 14 — past a fortnight the pieces are too thin to tear cleanly. The sheet always ends on one extra piece with no number on it: IT'S TODAY!

How it works

  1. Choose the number to start from and whether you are counting sleeps or days.
  2. Print the sheet and put it on the fridge whole. Strips tear off across the page; cards are cut out and can go on a string.
  3. Take one piece off each evening. The final piece has no number on it at all — it just says it is today.
