Holiday and seasonal party games

Every phrase, item and square below was written and checked by hand, and each link opens a generator with that content already selected — you can add your own lines, or delete any of ours, before you print. The links carry the settings and never any wording you type.
Christmas
For the long fortnight before it and the afternoon of it: something to act out after lunch, something to spot on a walk around the lights, and a sheet on the fridge that gets one strip shorter every night.
Halloween
Friendly-spooky rather than frightening: everything here is written for a costume party and a walk down a lit street, and none of it needs the lights off.
Easter
An egg hunt that lasts longer than four minutes: a checklist of things to find, a chain of clue cards that ends at the basket, and cards to act out while the chocolate is being counted.

Printing for a season
The countdown is the one to print early: it is the only sheet here that is used before the day rather than on it, and a fortnight of strips on the fridge is worth more to a child than anything printed on the morning itself. Everything else can wait until the night before — the charades decks are a full sheet of 24 cut-out cards each, which is about ten minutes with scissors in front of the television.
The spotting games — bingo and the hunt checklists — are for a walk rather than a table. They were written around things you can actually see on an ordinary street in the season: lights in a window, a wreath on a door, a chocolate wrapper in the grass. Nothing on them requires a particular decoration to have been bought, and nothing requires a particular belief.
Print at 100% on A4 or US Letter. Card at around 160 gsm is worth it for anything being cut out and handled — clue cards get carried around a garden, and charades cards get folded into a bowl — while the countdown and the checklists are fine on plain paper. All the PDFs are built in your browser, so nothing you type on any of these pages leaves your device.
How to use them

- Print on plain paper, or on card if you are cutting the pieces out — 160 gsm holds a cut edge far better.
- The countdown goes up weeks ahead; the games print the morning of. Nothing needs an account, and nothing you type is sent anywhere.
